LF: Will i be able to afford a lot of movement with a 100mm lens?
I'm making my final checklist for my LF camera setup.
http://www.shen-hao.com/TZ45-IIBen.html.
Will i be able to best take advantage of the camera movements with a 100mm lens? (I'm aiming for something around the 35mm in relative to 35mm film.)
Rodenstock APO-Sironar-S 100mm/5.6
Or will i better utilize camera movements with a 150mm?
PS: I can shoot 150mm or 50mm (in 35mm format) fairly well. I'm use to both formats. However, i would like to shoot a little wider as this camera will be used mostly for landscape and still life.
The link is bad.
If you mean by a LF camera a large format view camera, then the preferred wide angle lens is one of the Schneider Super Angulon 90 mm f/8 or 65 mm f/8 lenses and your bag bellows. You can find these lenses used sometimes and that is what I would do if I wanted another wide angle lens for my Sinar. (I have the 90 mm f/8)
The Schneider Super Angulon lenses cover a seven inch circle so you can use your camera movements just as you would with your normal lens.

According to that data sheet, the 100 mm f/5.6 is NOT designed for a 4x5 view camera (7 inch circle) so my guess is no, you cannot use any of the camera movements with that lens without vignetting
