Asus Eee Pc 1001Px Netbook Launching Soon

ASUS is definitely aiming for something big. Soon after the release of its earlier gadgets like the laptops and motherboards, it is planning to hit back with another series of Netbooks. The Netbook has been dubbed as the Eee PC 1001PX which would be the forthcoming gadget of ASUS.

The information is that these new Netbooks would land up in two different versions. The first version would run on the Windows XP and would carry the Hard disk space of 160GB storage and would carry a three-cell battery which would give a battery life of 5 hours. The Another version comes with Windows 7 and would carry the storage capacity of 250GB and also carries a  Six-cell battery which would give the battery life up to 9 hours. Below are the features of the Eee PC 1001PX.

Features of Eee PC 1001PX :

1) 1GB of RAM

2) Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics

3) resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels

4) 10.1-inch display

5) Intel Atom N450

6) built-in webcam

7) memory card reader

Do I need a special VGA cable for my Asus EEE PC netbook?

I am not able to connect a VGA cable to my Asus EEE PC netbook. While the same VGA cable is able to connect my Acer laptop to a television, it does not work with the Asus EEE PC netbook. Please help me. If I need a special cable, please tell me where I can buy one. Thank you.

It has the standard VGA port. You do not need a special cable to connect to TV that has VGA input; UNLESS what you are using in the ACER laptop is actually a different cable, S-Video cable to connect to TV.

You need a VGA to S-video adapter to make your eee PC work on TV.
