Black Nickel Piccolo?

Ok, being a flute/piccolo player of 9 years I know generally speaking steriling silver is best for flutes and wood is best for concert piccolos. I bought a piccolo off a ebay(BAD ME) $100 for a black nickel venus piccolo. I do understand I probably bought a piece o' crap piccolo but I'll be playing it when it comes in to see how it does. Basically, I have no experience with the Venus brand or using black nickel in flutes and I'm looking for some feedback.

You are right - this is CRAP. See if you can find some excuse to return it and get your money back.
