Camera Digital Lenses – Choosing the Right Lenses For Your Style of Photography
Making Your Mind Up: Digital SLR Camera Lenses
There are a variety of digital SLR cameras, lenses, that it can be quite difficult to know, how to choose the right one for your style of photography. Here is a simple explanation is to examine what, if you try to select the correct lenses for digital SLR camera.
Select a Digital SLR Camera Brand
Why do I write about digital cameras? Well, before you buy DIGITAL lenses, you must eitheropted for a brand of Digital SLR camera, or have already purchased. The reason is quite simple. Branded digital camera lenses are not interchangeable between different brands of digital cameras. While some 3rd-party camera can come with interchangeable lenses, mounts, most of them do not.
The decision on a lens for your SLR digital camera
To consider a logical process for the selection of lenses for your digital SLR camera is as follows:
1.Select the desired focal length
– A lower focal length allows you to photos, take a broader inclusion of images.
2. Would you like a prime lens or zoom lens
– They have a fixed focal length lenses in Prime, which means you can not zoom in and out. Zoom lenses allow you to get up close to the object without moving physically closer.
3. Select the desired maximum aperture
– Alarge aperture (low F / stop number) can allow more light into the camera, so you can better pictures in low light and indoors.
4. Branded lenses or third party lenses
– Our objectives are the gold standard, especially if you buy from a quality manufacturer like Nikon or Canon. However, have 3rd party lenses over the years improved considerably, now, to present an excellent and affordable alternative to accompany yourDigital SLR camera. If you have a fan just started, it can be good starting track with a value of just over Tamron or Sigma lenses before deciding how serious the photography.

Does old Tamron Lenses 28-200 compitable with Digital Camera?
I got an old Tamron Lenses 28-200mm 71DN, which is about 10 years' old. It is like new as I only used it a few times. I was thinking to buy a new digital SLR camera and don't know whether it will work with new Nikkon digital Camera.
Does anybody here have any experience about this?
Thanks in Advance and Merry Christmas
If it's a Nikon AF mount, it'll be compatible with a digital SLR. However, note that the chip in the lens may need to be updated for full flash compatibility, but the lens will focus and meter with Nikon SLRs.
