how to take a lens off the canon sd1000?
My camera has a little condensation in its lens. I was wondering how to take that lens off to wipe that condensation off. It is the Canon Powershot SD1000 Digital Elph.
You don't.
Only a trained digital camera repair person can remove any condensate that may have worked its way into your lens.
You can try using the uncooked rice program, putting your camera into a zip sealed bag with rice all around it, changing the rice every 24 hours or so. Letting the bag heat up in the sun to get it going may speed up the process, but you don't want to get the camera too hot, or it will interfere with the lubricants used throughout the camera.
If the condensate in the lens does not go away after three days of this process, take it to a Canon authorized camera repair shop and let them handle it for you.
