i want to get some videos on youtube. i can't upload it on youtube unless i find a way to save it on the computer. my camcorder is a sony disc camcorder, so i CAN'T use a usb cable. someone help , please!

If your computer has a drawer loading DVD drive, you can put the finalized disc (if you needed to do that) into the drive... You may need ISOBuster.

Then, rip the DVD with something like HandBrake.
This should get it to a format that MovieMaker (Windows) or iMovie (Macintosh) can deal with.

If you do not have a drawer loading DVD drive or the drive is for CD only, the only other way is to use the AV cables and an Analog/Digital bridge from Pinnacle (Dazzle - connects with USB) or any of the Canopus media conversion boxes (connects with firewire) made for analog conversion.
