what could be making this happen?

I have two Sony xplode 12" sub woofers in a sealed box with a kicker 2303watt amp it is wired with a 2 Gage power wire, 4 Gage ground, and a 14 Gage remote. It just started but when i turn the car on i notice that the dome light gets dim and two seconds later i can hear a pop sound from the back when i check the amp the fuses are popped. What the heck is happening. the amp has two forty amp. fuses that pop and a 80 amp fuse in line
the ground is tight and has been there since i hooked it up and ii have not had a problem with it

You obviously have a short somewhere dude! Or the amp is bad. Double check all your wiring.

PS, the ground wire is always supposed to be the same or bigger than the power wire.
