Can you run a digital photo frame from a 12v battery?

I run a small business selling costume and props for reenactment and LARP games, and I've bought a large digital photo frame to run a slideshow of various costumes etc. when we are trading at various events around the country. However most of the events we trade at are outdoor events, and we have no access to mains electricity, so I would like to be able to run it from a 12v leisure battery

I have no idea what a leisure battery is. Do you mean rv/marine battery? Try a small voltage inverter,it converts the 12vdc to 110vac, or whatever the voltage is in your country. Get one rated at twice the wattage your photo frame requires.
